Information

El Lissitzky (1890-1941) was a visionary architect, designer and artist. He also saw himself as a builder. Lissitzky is regarded as one of the main representatives of Constructivism, which decisively shaped the avant-garde movement of the 1920s. This is also reflected in his plywood chair for the second international Hygiene Exhibition in Dresden in 1930. From 1978, TECTA has been producing the chair a licensed re-edition.
