Information

Architect and designer Marcel Breuer (1902-1981) completed a carpentry apprenticeship at Bauhaus. His early wooden furniture designs already showed the construction principles that were later to be found in his steel tube furniture.
And as a reconstruction of the belt chair, 1980/81 – Marcel Breuer and Gunta Stölzl designed this chair in 1922 at Bauhaus Weimar.
