Information

Gunnar Aagaard Andersen (1919-1982) is one of the pioneers of Danish modernism. He worked as an artist, designer, university lecturer and architect. His furniture designs were as visionary as they were sculptural, like the Lattenstuhl (slatted chair) from the 1970s: the chair was made of wood, the seat and backrest of elastic wooden slats.
